Large Format Tiles in Your Bathroom

What's the deal with large format tiles in a smaller space? Your bathroom isn't generally the biggest room, yet the Australian market has so many beautiful tile options that now come in sheet or slab sizes. 600x1200mm format tiles are extremely popular and they mimic slab pieces.

Utilising these tiles for flooring can significantly enhance the room's feature - however, it is always advisable to use linear drains to ensure the slope is directed towards one end of the room. Cutting these tiles to create the required slope can be challenging, and it's crucial not to hinder the water flow towards the drains.

Using these beautiful elements for the walls is a fantastic decision! Not only do they enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of the space, but they also exude a sense of opulence and sophistication.

By opting for these elements, you are not only introducing a touch of luxury but also elevating the style quotient of the room. Moreover, their design significantly minimizes the occurrence of repetitive patterns, ensuring a more cohesive and visually pleasing look. Additionally, these elements help in reducing the prominence of grout lines, thereby creating a seamless and polished finish that adds to the overall elegance of the space. In essence, incorporating these elements into the walls not only enhances the visual appeal but also contributes to a more refined and upscale atmosphere within the room.

Don't forget to check in with your tiler about the cost of laying 600x1200mm tiles or larger, before you start the project. We never like hidden surprises.
